How to Crochet an Easy Christmas Tree Skirt with this Simple Christmas Tree Skirt Free Crochet Pattern.
This Simple Christmas Tree Skirt pattern works up so soft, chunky and colourful. Made with two strands of worsted weight (4) yarn it appears to be a bulky crochet tree skirt. By using two different colours of yarn held together, it creates this wonderful rustic textured look. It really works in cottage core decor as well as in modern minimalistic spaces.
This Simple Christmas Tree Skirt adds a warm touch to your home. It is also the perfect way to protect your wooden or carpeted floor from needles or fallen ornaments. All this while adding a festive feel to your home.
Introducing my Simple Christmas Tree Skirt Free Crochet Pattern
Hi everyone. I am so excited to share this new free Simple Christmas Tree Skirt crochet pattern with you. It has a beautiful texture created by using the double crochet stitch with a larger hook and while holding two strands of yarn together while you crochet. Make it as I have done, with contrasting colours alongside a white strand. Or you can also make it in a solid colour if you prefer.
I love using a beginner crochet stitch, such as the double crochet stitch as it allows beginners to make a larger project like this.

The Simple Christmas Tree Skirt Free Crochet Pattern
Introducing my Simple Christmas Tree Skirt pattern. This Simple Christmas tree skirt is great as it has easy ties to fasten it once you have it in place around your tree.
The Simple Christmas Tree Skirt is worked flat and made with the simple double crochet stitch. I use two strands of worsted weight (4) yarn held together. I used two colours worked held together and love the look you get doing this. I kept the white throughout and interchanged the contrast colours of red and white. You may also use cotton yarn for this project. This project uses an L 8mm crochet hook.
For those new to crochet, there are left and right-handed videos on my Carroway Crochet YouTube channel that demonstrate how to do the double crochet stitch.
Simple Christmas Tree Skirt
Size:Tree Skirt measures approximately 60″ across.
Supplies you will need:

For this pattern you will be using two strands of yarn held together as you work to create a bulky yarn style tree skirt.
I used a 100% acrylic yarn. You can use Red Heart Super Saver. I used yarn from my stash. I like to hold two different colours of yarn together to create this rustic feel to my project, but you may choose to use two strands of the same colour yarn for yours.
I used
400 yards of White,
400 yards of Red,
400 yards of Green.
Hook: L- 8mm
