Description of my Granny Springtime Shawl:
The Granny Springtime Shawl is created from the bottom pointed end up which makes it the perfect project to do while chilling with a movie. Once you have got into the rhythm of the granny stripe stitch and how you increase on each row, you just keep going.
This free Granny Triangle Shawl pattern uses the granny stripe stitch. I chose the granny stripe stitch as it is super trendy right now and it is a simple stitch that creates such a high impact. The texture it creates is quite magical.
This Granny Springtime Shawl is 70 ” wide approximately and 36″ long down to the point. Of course you can customize it by adding extra stitches for added width and length.

All About the Yarn I Chose for my Granny Springtime Shawl.
For this free spring triangle shawl pattern I decided to use Caron Skinny Cakes yarn in the Buttermints colourway. I chose this yarn as the colours were subtle and have a springtime feel. It was perfect for my vision of my Granny Triangle Shawl.
It is a number 3 Lightweight worsted yarn, also know as DK yarn and it is 100% acrylic. You can make a scarf or a shawl with just one cake. I used one cake for my Granny Springtime Shawl
The Granny Springtime Shawl is a free lightweight triangle shawl pattern and is perfect for advanced beginners as well as advanced crocheters. It has such a beautiful granny stripe texture.
