A Crochet Washcloth Pattern to Help You Make A Crochet Washcloth.
Today I am happy to share my new Crochet Washcloth Pattern with you. You can also use this crochet washcloth pattern to make a spa cloth or a dish cloth.
I made my Sedge Stitch Crochet Washcloth using 100% cotton. I highly recommend you use cotton when making crochet washcloths or dish cloths. Look for yarn that is soft and easy on your skin.
This Crochet Washcloth Pattern Features the Sedge Stitch
Hi everyone. I am so excited to share this Crochet Washcloth pattern with you. This Sedge Stitch washcloth is just as its name describes, it is an easy washcloth to make using the sedge stitch. It uses the single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet stitch to create the sedge stitch clusters and it is great for beginners.
Hand made dish cloths and washcloths are something that never seem to lose popularity. They are so hard wearing and thicker than store bought cloths. Once someone has used a hand crochet washcloth there is no going back as they are so special.
How many of you love to crochet washcloths and dish cloths? I love how you can make them with so many cool stitches. It is a great way to learn new stitches. They are such a quick and easy project especially when you use this crochet washcloth pattern. These cloths make such wonderful gifts at any time of the year.
Once you have got going with this crochet washcloth pattern it will be such an easy project for you to make. I am sure you will be making them for your friends and family.

About the Sedge Stitch Crochet Washcloth Pattern.
This washcloth is made using the sedge stitch. It is a beautiful stitch with a gorgeous texture and perfect for a washcloth. Find a nice soft cotton yarn for your crochet washcloth. This washcloth is 8″ by 8″ once you have added the single crochet border.
The Sedge Stitch is created by using the single crochet, the half double crochet and the double crochet in away that creates these beautiful clusters. I use this stitch in several of my patterns.
Other Patterns Using the Sedge Stitch.
I have two beautiful wrap patterns that both use the Sedge Stitch. I use different sized hooks in each of these wraps. This means that they look and feel completely different from this washcloth, which uses a smaller hook. The Graceful Wrap and my Summer Wrap both use the sedge stitch and I think you will love them..
Some Other Kitchen Crochet Projects You Can Make for Yourself.
If you enjoy making cloths I have a pattern for a lovely Simply Spa Cloth. This can also double as a dish cloth. Something else you can make for your kitchen is my Practically Perfect Potholder. These fun patterns are great as they are a nice sized project that you can pick up and make quite quickly and they don’t need much yarn.
