The Simply Spa Cloth: Free Pattern
Today I am happy to share my Simply Spa Cloth with you. It is part of the Simply Spa Set but it also works well as a dishcloth.
Hi everyone. I am so excited to share this free crochet pattern with you. This cloth is an easy cloth to make. It uses the half double crochet stitch so it is great for beginners

The Simply Spa Cloth
Supplies for the Simply Spa Set cloth.
Yarn: Bernat Handicrafter Cotton (4)
Hook: H/8-5.00mm
Scissors and a yarn needle
Gauge: 11 hdc – 10 hdc rows = 4” (10 cm) using an H hook
Abbreviations (uses US conventions)
- Ch = chain
- Sl st = slip stitch
- st = stitch
- sc = single crochet
- hdc = half double crochet
- dc = double crochet
This pattern uses US terminology. The US and UK crochet terms are different, but they use the same terms to describe different stitches. Here is a simple conversion chart for anyone in the UK.

Size:.
Finished Size: 9” wide and 9″ tall
Instructions:
Ch25
Row 1: Hdc into the 2nd ch from the hook and dhc into each st across, ch1 and turn
(24)
Row 2-22: Hdc into the first st and every stitch across, ch1 and turn (24 )
Row 23: Hdc into the first st and every stitch across (24)
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
