This Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern is for the Cascade Scarf and it makes a classic and elegant scarf. I used the Fisherman colour from Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn. This Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern is easy to work up once you have the camel stitch down. Using the large hook makes the airy stitches that make this scarf super cozy.

Description of The Cascade Infinity Scarf.

The Cascade Infinity Scarf is made with super bulky weight yarn, (6) and I use Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick Yarn. It is a wool acrylic blend and the 20% wool in this yarn makes it super warm and so soft and easy to wear. This yarn is the go to yarn for makers as it is so quick to work up and makes the softest projects imaginable. It also comes in a huge selections of gorgeous colours. I used the fisherman for the ones in this picture.
This easy Crochet Infinity Scarf Pattern is made using the camel crochet stitch, which is a variation of the half double crochet stitch. It is made in the round so there is no sewing involved.
Here is a very clear video on how to do the Camel Stitch, which is made by working into the third loop only. It is by Amanda Saladin of Love. Life. Yarn.

Here is a close up of how scrumptious the Camel Stitch looks worked up on the large Q hook.

Special Stitch:
The Camel Stitch is made when you crochet into the third loop of the previous half double crochet and it creates a ribbed pattern. When worked in the round the rib appears on the right side only of the work.

Here is a great tutorial for how to do the Camel Stitch

Instructions:

This scarf is worked in the round so you do not turn at the end of each round.
This scarf is also worked in a spiral so you do not join into the top of the beginning ch at the end of each row. There is no ch1 at the start of each new row.

Chain 70 and join with a sl st into the first chain to form a ring, being careful not to twist the chain.

Round 1: Ch 1, HDC into the 1st ch from the hook (not the ch you made the sl st into), and hdc into each ch around, (70 stitches)

Now we begin to work the camel stitch by crocheting into the third loop only in each stitch around.
Round 2: Place a stitch marker at the beginning of this row and move it up as you progress around the scarf. Work round in a spiral, (do not ch 1 at the beginning of the row.) Make one stitch into the third loop only of the next st as demonstrated in the video above. Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 3: Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 4 Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 5: Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 6Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 7 Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 8Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 9Work into the third loop only in each stitch around. (70 stitches)
Round 10: Work into the third loop only in each stitch until three stitches from the end. Sc into the next st, sl st into the next st, sl st into the final stitch. (70 stitches)

Fasten off and weave in the ends.

I hope you enjoy your Cascade  Scarf
