Description of the Mini Beanie Ornament:
These Mini Beanie Ornaments are made with the simple single crochet stitch. To create the ribbed look you make each single crochet stitch into the back loop only.
You can also use these cute rustic mini beanies to make garlands to string across your mantlepiece or walls or to add as a decoration tied to your gifts when you wrap them.
Don’t forget to pin it for later so you don’t lose it.

The Yarn and Making mini Pom Poms
I used a worsted weight (4) yarn for these beanies. I have used several types of yarn as I was looking for specific colours.
To make the mini pom poms for this beanie I used the smallest size pom pom maker in my pom pom making set.
Here is a great pom pom maker if you don’t want to make them by hand. I do have instructions on how to make a pom pom without a maker on my tea cozy blog post.
This is the pom pom maker I use, but there are many others on the market.
