Description of The Cozy Infinity Scarf.

The Cozy Infinity Scarf is made with a bulky/chunky weight yarn, (5) and I used Lion Brand Scarfie Yarn in the Cream/Mustard colour. It is a wool acrylic blend and the wool in this yarn makes it soft and warm and easy to wear.
Scarfie yarn comes in a huge selection of gorgeous colours. I used the cream/mustard ombre yarn for the scarf in this picture.
This scarf is created from the top down. You begin with a half double crochet row and then do a double crochet row. The scarf is made by alternating the rows of half double crochet and double crochet. When your scarf is 32 inches long approximately, you finish off and sew the two short ends together. This creates the circle scarf.
Here you can see how alternating rows of double crochet and half double crochet look..

About the Yarn Used for the Cozy Infinity Scarf Free Crochet Pattern. .

The Cozy Scarf is made with Lion Brand Scarfie yarn. This is my first time using this yarn and I really loved working with it.
Scarfie is a soft and lofty wool blend yarn with enough yardage to make a full length scarf or infinity style scarf. While working with Scarfie, it creates a unique self-striping ombré effect which is very beautiful and subtle.
The gradual shading from one colour to the next is lovely. The ombré pattern is a  tonal blend of solid and heathered hues. Scarfie is great for stylish garments, accessories and afghans.
It is a 5 Bulky / Chunky weight yarn and there are 312 yards or 285 metres in a skein, which weighs 5.3 oz or 150 grams.
Scarfie yarn is 78% acrylic and 22% wool. This blend makes for a super soft  yarn.

How to Care for Scarfie Yarn.

You can machine wash your scarf and  lay it flat to dry.

Instructions:

This scarf is worked flat and seamed at the ends so you will turn your work at the end of each round.
Chain 24
Row 1: Ch 1, HDC into the 2nd ch from the hook and HDC into each ch across, turn work. (23 stitches)
Row 2: Ch2, DC into the first st and into each stitch across, turn work. (23 stitches)

Row 4: Ch2, DC into the first st and into each stitch across, turn work. (23 stitches)
Repeat Rows 3 and 4, so you will do one HDC row followed by a DC row, and repeat. Work this way until you are nearly at the end of the skein finishing on a Double crochet row. Make sure you have enough yarn left to sew the ends together.
Fasten off leaving a tail long enough to sew across the ends of the scarf.
Sewing the Ends.
Fold the scarf with the right sides together with the ends meeting. Using your yarn needle and the yarn tail sew across the short ends of the scarf.
Fasten off and weave in the ends.
I hope you enjoy your Cozy Scarf
