About the Sedge Stitch Cushion Cover
As the name suggests, this cushion cover is made using the sedge stitch. This is an easy crochet stitch that uses the single crochet stitch, the half double crochet stitch and the double crochet stitch. I have detailed instructions on the pattern below that explain how to make the sedge stitch. It is such a beautiful and elegant texture and once you master it you will want to use it again and again.
Here are some of my other patterns that use the Sedge Stitch. You might like to check them out. The Sedge Stitch Cloth is very popular as is the The Graceful Wrap and the Summer Wrap. All of these patterns use the sedge stitch and they are so pretty.
Are You a Visual Learner?
I do have video tutorials showing you how to make the sedge stitch up on my youtube channel and they are available in right and left handed versions.
Here is the right handed tutorial
Here is the left handed version for all you lefties out there.
I hope these videos help you to understand the sedge stitch.
