Introducing the Simple Scarf free pattern. It is a great beginner crochet pattern.  If you are new to crochet, then this is the pattern for you. I used Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick yarn and it makes such a super squishy and warm chunky scarf.

I wanted to make this modern and stylish design as a simple pattern for beginners. Often as a beginner to crochet it is hard to find simple patterns that have the reward of an accessory you can wear with pride. The Simple Scarf free pattern is one of those patterns. You don’t need to know more than one stitch to make this beauty.

You can make this Simple Scarf using the double crochet stitch.

Description of The Simple Scarf.

The Simple Scarf is made with super bulky weight yarn, (6) and I use Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick and Quick Yarn as it is a wool acrylic blend and the 20% wool in this yarn makes it super warm and so soft and easy to wear.

This easy Simple Scarf is made using the double crochet stitch.  It is simple to make as it is made flat and you join the edges with a simple whip stitch.

Luckily I have a video for how to do the double crochet stitch on my You Tube Channel.

And here is the left handed version.

Would like to share some of your finished projects or join our growing crochet community in my Facebook Group. It would be great to have you and see what you are up to.
